Program Description
Serving children grades 4-6. All children within this age range welcome, but priority goes to neurodiverse kids.
Meeting Schedule
Every Saturday 2-4 pm. First meeting on 2/7.
The Tournament date not released yet. However, most likely in April.
Program Description
The goal of this year
- Identifying the real world challenges faced by archeologists and finding propose solutions that can help.
The students will
- Have the opportunities to interview the professionals in the field of archeology and learn about their challenges and proposed their solutions.
- Relate the real world challenge with the Lego challenge field.
- Work with Lego Spike Prime. Design, build and program a robot to accomplish the mission in the FLL challenge field.
- Learn STEM skills like simple machines, engineering practice tool, coding. Students will be encouraged in critical thinking, problem-solving, presentation, teamwork, project management skills etc
- Create a presentation on the challenges faced by archaeologists
- Learn from their senior peers—the high schoolers—and have fun. Student focused, 1-on-1 personalized teaching.
Fee
$150/student. Scholarship available upon request.
