What we offer
The S.T.A.R. tutoring service provides free, specialized academic support for children in the Albany, CA area. We offer one-on-one and small group instruction in subjects like math, science, and reading, delivered by dedicated and trained local high school mentors. By pairing students with consistent mentors, we build confidence, improve comprehension, and foster the specific organizational and study skills necessary for long-term academic success, all within a patient and supportive learning environment.
